Recently my wife and I spent $20,000 on a complete bathroom remodel using a sub from Lowe's named Rebath. The technicians did a nice job but that is where the positive experience ended. They had a subcontractor for painting and it was horrible, when getting the estimate we were told the wallpaper would be removed and when painted look brand new. There were actually LARGE chunks of wallpaper left hanging and simply painted over. It was so bad I had to hire my own painter to fix the problem and his comment was this was terrible. Secondly the plumber left a huge mess in the basement taking me an hour to clean up, in addition he put the shower head pipe at 80" when my wife is 5' tall. I reported both of these to Lowe's and were basically told it is their contractor and to go after them. So in other words after spending the above mentioned TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS I was asking for a simple reimbursement of $400-$500 which NEVER happened and I have been given the run around EVER SINCE. So in closing do not use Rebath or Lowe's as they DO NOT back their customers which is sad. We saved for years to get this project done and Lowe's really disappointed in regards to backing us up.
