Lousy customer service

My wife spent hours on the phone today trying to place a large and expensive order of gifts. The first two attempts were declined by the Macy’s fraud dept. The third attempt was approved by Amex but Macys advised in writing that it was declined. All this after hours on the phone and speaking with different people plus a supporvisor. Most of these people you can barely understand. It’s mind boggling that this is the best they can do.
