If I could leave -0- Stars I would. McAfee is the absolute worst to deal with. Their Anti-Virus is no better than others and their PC Optimizer is the same (no big deal). What sets McAfee from the rest is their ABSOLUTE HORRIFIC Technical Support / Customer Care. IT IS NON-EXISTENT. I've been having serial key issues with their product for months and they can't resolve it. I can't add any new Laptop or PC to my account because it gives me an error code thus making it IMPOSSIBLE to use. EVERY TECH (if you can call them that) that I've talked to (several times) can't or doesn't know how to resolve the issue. I keep having to repeat myself over and over and over and over and over and over AGAIN. Just picture the most horrific Indian accent asking you the same questions repeatedly and not resolving anything. They take control of my computer and can't figure it out. Then again in a heavily laden Indian accent tells me they're going to "ESCALATE" my issue and I'll be reached out to. WRONG!!! NO-ONE AND I MEAN NO-ONE HAS REACHED BACK OUT. I asked for a refund but because I'm an existing customer and just renewed my subscription they won't do it. So I'm out a few $$$ until my subscription ends next June 2025. Of course I started having the issues when I renewed in June (2024) and have been left just hanging in the wind. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for anti-virus. If you have an issue and need help YOU WILL BE LET DOWN.Also at some point YOU WILL get BARRAGED by McAfee Spam purporting you have data breaches, you need to buy something else to combat the data breaches etc……Just remember that you’re paying McAfee to get spammed.
