You only really know how an anti virus program works when needed and when I needed it, it failed. I clearly had malware on my Mac and it continuously said that I didn’t. Even though I kept running into the same problem. I called and they told me that my mac was fine and to contact apple. The apple employee referred me to another anti virus program and it detected the malware within minutes and removed it. What also annoyed me about McAfee was that they kept says they resolved my issue when they hadn’t. I called multiple times and no one helped me. And when I tried to get a refund they said I couldn’t.
