This was my first time using Mercari to purchase an item. after placing the order, the seller printed the shipping label the same day, but after 7 days, they hadn't delivered the package to the courier. I messaged the seller through Mercari asking about the status. They said they would be delivering it very soon. After 10 days, the seller still didn't bring it to UPS. The mercari web site stated that if the status had not changed by the 17th, I can cancel the order for a refund. I waited a total of 13 days before trying to receive a refund because I wanted to give the seller a sufficient amount of time. I first tried the cancelation process on their site. It would always get to a step in the process asking me to choose a selection, but there weren't any selections displayed. I tried 3 different browsers and still the same result. I then called Mercari's customer service and no matter which option I selected, a message would say "the wait time is longer than 10 minutes" and then hang up. I tried this multiple times a day for 4 days straight. I just tried again on a weekend day, but they only offer customer service support M-F.The reviews speak for themself. I can't get the item I ordered and can't cancel the order or receive a refund because Mercari has blocked any way for me to reach out to them.
