I purchased Pyrex Vintage Bowls for $60. They were wrapped well but the shipper dropped the box. I put a claim into UPS and told the seller what I was doing. Two days later she put a claim in with who she purchased shipping from Pirate Ship. Pirate Ship paid her right away. I kept getting the run around with UPS. After much research I came to find out seller put a claim in and was paid. Seller thinks she was out money even though I paid her $60. and she got a check from Pirate Ship $89. Now she will not communicate with me. This was all through the selling site of Mercari. Mercari closed the sale and rated without my knowledge. They do not help at all. Buyer beware with Mercari.
