Seller sent order in 2 packages. First one came and on platform the seller stated to save money the rest was shipped in separate box but part of same order. Once first box arrived Mercari said rate your order within 3 days. I couldn’t rate or close as the entire order had not arrived and I wanted to check it to make sure it was correct. Mercari gave seller 5 stars and said too bad for you past 3 days. My order had no fully arrived? Firewall of low level folks keep you from having a live conversation. Just brief emails back & forth not addressing the issue. So I suggest folks in each state get ahold of your consumer protection agency in each state. They will investigate the fraud at no cost to you and cost Mercari money to deal with them. In WV it’s the Attorney Generals. I took an hour and documented everything and now they will deal with Mercari. They may be Japanese owned with a calif. office but if you sell anything into a state Mercari is bound to follow the state law. So do yourselves a favor and lodge complaints through your state consumer protection agency. Mercari will clean up fraud or be shut down if enough of us take this action. Online reviews is not enough. Take care of yourselves and go after the fraud Mercari platform! May I add the seller ghosted me on the Mercari platform and Mercari sees the fraud and the seller remains selling as of today! I say no more.
