The most inept and useless service on the planet. The following day is forecast for sun with a few clouds and 12 hours later it is tipping down and 4 degrees colder than predicted, the following day which was again predicted sunny is now dark and dank and changed beyond belief from 12 hours previous forecast. The issue is the “supercomputer “ which basically overthinks everything. Back in the 80’s when we had magnetic isobars and clouds being stuck on a revolving stand it was basic yes, but with a handful of pressure and wind speed readings and a basic satellite image at their disposal, the meteorologists then had a 75-85% accuracy rate, today I have averaged just 30% when making my own notes. Absolute waste of time and money. And remember this, my sister studied meteorology at university and had taught me well, the sun (which is uncontrollable BTW) amounts for the vast majority of heat on the planet, heats water and plants which create …water vapour which causes heat change below…THEN AND ONLY THEN does CO2 (which has zero affect on temperature just makes plants grow) raises slightly, it is a result of warming NOT A CAUSATIVE EFFECT, this is really basic science which I learned at O level in 1986/87. Scrap the computer and the fake scary news about warming, a solar minimum is coming in the next decade and the there will be no gas or electricity to heat our homes, or if there is , too expensive to use.
