I was recommended to Nest thermostats by my heating engineer. Wish I’d read the reviews. I purchased three in August. Up to now I’ve had to replace two of them. The aftersales support is awful. You can’t return them to the wholesaler you have to ring customer support based in Romania. I’ve spent nearly two hours on the phone speaking to someone with broken English and patently no technical understanding to finally get them to agree that the units are faulty. The first time they sent out another faulty head unit. They took another three weeks to agree to send a further replacement, all the time secured with a further credit card payment!!! I’ve just received the third replacement and this one won’t connect to the base unit wirelessly so suspect this one is knackered too. That will be another 40-60 minute call to convince them to send me another replacement. I really wish I’d never bought the bloody things. They really are crap!!!! And to add insult to injury there is no easy way to raise a complaint
