What is amazing to me is that within 5 hours of someone posting a positive review about their experiences with Parallels, someone from the company posts a response thanking them.Now, imagine if that was the case with Parallels Customer Support. Well, you can sit there and imagine all you want as that’s a pipe dream that will never come true.In fact, waiting for someone from customer support to get back to you can take seemingly forever. Go and post a question on their support forums and they’ll pick and choose which ones they actually want to respond to.With my annual subscription to their services coming to an end, I had a simple question about whether I was eligible for an “upgrade” or “renewal” price. I sent them an email. I posted the question on their support forum. They never bothered to reply. Now my subscription has ended and any opportunity to get a discount on another year of their extremely over-priced subscription rate is now gone.This is not the first time I have had this problem with Parallels support. They don’t have the resources to answer anyone in a suitable time frame. If you have an issue, you can wait on the phone for a very long time for an agent. Send them an email and you’ll wait several days for a reply, if at all.Parallels really needs to spend less time on these review sites and more time on their own when customers are coming to them with support questions.EDIT: It has now been well over a week with several emails sent to support and on their support forum without a single reply. I have a feeling I have been flagged with their customer support for posting this negative review.I would highly advise not to consider Parallels as their support is non-existent. I am going to switch to Fusion Pro for my virtual windows needs instead of dealing with a company that can’t handle or refuses support requests. This is absolutely ridiculous.
