Pinterest just asked me to edit a board as it went against policy. I did but it was mainly black and white photos of couples together, male and female bodies, that have been represented in art for hundreds of years, and weren’t pornographic - so I wasn’t sure what I needed to delete. Then they just deleted it. I’d noticed an increase of religious pins even though I always ask them to hide them as they are irrelevant to me but they still regularly appear. Maybe there’s a darker side to social media with US roots? I didn’t like their most recent big change where my feed became mainly their suggestions. And they removed the categories, which I used to select and browse as I could find new things I wasn’t intentionally looking for, and made it harder to find people to follow. Now they’ve updated the look and I have a black background and it looks horrible. I’mgetting less and less interested in their changes and I was one of the first people to start using it...
