Never cruise with Royal Carribean

Never cruise with Royal Carribean. We experienced shockingly poor customer support when my husband had a life threatening emergency surgery causing us to miss our cruise. It was our 40th anniversary with our kids. Our daughter and son in law knew they would not be excused so as upset emotionally as there were, went. When asked for a future cruise credit the only response was that’s too bad. You should have purchased travel insure. I was not asking for a refund. I didn’t even ask for full cruise credit. But what I did expect was some sort of sympathy on their part by allotting us something. Unfortunately we, our family, and circle of friends will not cruise with a company whose only response was “You should have purchased travel insurance “. Not one word about, “we hope your husband is doing ok?!”Nice job Royal🥲
