I’ve had multiple incidents of harassment on Snapchat, both in private chats and public Stories, and despite reporting them several times, Snapchat refuses to take action.One user posted private conversations of mine, twisting my words and publicly humiliating me. I reported it immediately, only to be told it “doesn’t violate their terms.” How does publicly exposing private messages and making false claims not break the rules?This isn’t even the first time—I’ve been threatened in chats before, reported it, and Snapchat still did nothing. It’s clear they do not take user safety seriously.To make matters worse, I was once a Snapchat+ paying user, but I canceled my subscription because the security team never takes these reports seriously. I refuse to support a platform that allows harassment to go unchecked.If you value privacy and security, stay away from Snapchat. Their reporting system is useless, and their lack of accountability is unacceptable. Until they fix their broken moderation policies, they don’t deserve our trust or money.
