I purchased a game less than a week ago…

I purchased a game less than a week ago using playstation vouchers, I waited for a while to buy this game as I heard some mixed reviews and finally decided to go for it. Well it has been fairly laggy and sometimes unplayable but I have just accepted it's because I'm still using my ps4 pro. Well turns out the game is now on sale 50% off which if I knew I would have held out to buy it.I contacted support because I thought I might get some help. Well they said because I'd downloaded and played it I cannot have a refund, I asked if I could be partly refunded because I still want the game baring in mind Im not expecting physical money back just re credited ps account but no they said that it wasn't possible.Pretty rubbish customer service and makes me think twice purchasing directly on the playstation store in future and most of my playstation game library is digital, I may even just purchase on another platform from now on although they've got my money now so seems like they could care less. I was considering purchasing a ps5 in a couple of months but I think I may not bother to be honest. I've never contacted support before now and a gesture of good will goes a long way especially to long standing and loyal playstation customers.
