Totally disgusted by Survey Monkey and would NEVER recommend anyone trying a "free account" with them. I wanted a one question survey, for one time, to gather information on a preferred meeting date from about 120 people. I created an account and found it easy to build the desired survey and I emailed to my mailing list. Within a day, I received a notice from Survey Monkey that I had received 23 responses and to click on my account to view. Imagine my surprise when my account stated that I could only see 10 of the 23 responses. If I wanted to see any more than 10 I had to have a paid account. So I looked at the payment options and saw one or two that were somewhat reasonably priced and they had a monthly cost and an annual cost. I thought I would go ahead and spend the $19 or $25 for a one month account since people were responding. However, when you put in all your billing information, you are charged for an annual account - there is no way to only purchase a monthly account. I withdrew my payment info and did some online research as to whether you could pay for the year and then cancel during that year and receive a refund, but Survey Monkey will not refund any account. There was NO INDICATION when you create a free account that you will only be able to see 10 responses, which is totally unfair. That needs to be an upfront notice when you create an account. If you only need 10 responses from any group, you might as well call or email each of the 10 individually rather than create a survey. I will never use this program again and sure not recommend to anyone unless they are in the survey business.
