I cancelled my subscription recently because, while I had signed up to seek a wider range of viewpoints, the unexpected level of pro-trumpism and borderline climate change denial I found is not something I wish to make a financial contribution to.Cancelling can only be done on the phone, and boy was it a difficult and long phone call. I can imagine elderly and other vulnerable people being cowed into giving up on cancelling because of the level of assertivness that was required to actually get them to cancel my subscription.
