I read the Telegraph on-line as it's good to hear views completely at odds to one's own. Standing back a bit and evaluating the newspaper within its own terms of reference, I think it would be a more credible commentator if only it weren't so rabid in its right-wing philosophy. I just think that being so overtly declaratory and reactionary drains away value and credibility from their analysis. They could probably take a lesson from the Guardian that is supposedly left-wing but not to the point of dogmatism and obsession. I say this as someone who regularly disapproves of some of the Guardian's middle-of-the-road, middle aged and middle class politics.
