bad payment and subscription managementALTHOUGH I do not recommend their method of subscription management, PLEASE read till THE END, because I updated/edited this review due to new circumstances- in other words they sent me a follow up email which I included at the end of the review.My old review VVVVYou have to jump through hoops to cancel, first it leads to a special offer, then to a phone number, if you live chat them they try and offer you better offers like for 4.99 or whatever. I don't mind the offers, but the fact you cannot control the PayPal payment method, or remove it from their database yourself, but have to ask them to- is just downright scary. I don't think they are doing anything wrong, it just gives me this feeling that I can't cancel or remove my payment method- it's outside my control. You have to call them or live chat them.All in all I didn't use it much, even though I agree with the conservative views and etc, I just didn't use it. I find my anxiety levels on the rise the more I watch or read news, so I just stopped altogether. I cannot overlook the way they handle the subscriptions. Even though customer service helped with all my issues, I give one stars because it is almost deceptive.^^^^^^^^Old Review New part of review (2022, April 2nd)VVVVVVVVVThe old section of the review was written about- I don't know, a few weeks to a month ago? They just sent me a new email, a follow up and a refund, I have included all of it, they said:1]: "Thank you for your response and feedback. Please accept our most sincere apology for the experience, and know that we feel terribly sorry reading your email. You're right, cancelling a subscription shouldn't take too much time and effort."2]: "I understand your disappointment and frustration. We know when you choose to subscribe, you've cast a vote for the value of Truth and Tradition. It's unfortunate that sometimes we hurt our own customers that share the same values, and we have to learn the hard way. We're in the process of reviewing our online process."3]: "The online cancellation portal has been providing subscribers better suited alternatives. After all, the times can be tough on many hardworking individuals, so we're trying to find every possible way to work with you. Over half of our subscribers that visited the online portal have found other offers that suit them."4]: "However, since none suits you, we respect your decision and have cancelled your subscription immediately and also refunded your $9.97 back to your payment method on file. Rest assured no further charges will be incurred unless you contact us to renew."5]: "Please rest assured as well that your PayPal payment method on file has been removed already in our system."6]: "We truly appreciate all the support you've given us, and we thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. Your feedback helps us grow and stay true to our values, as we are all in this fight together."7]: "Again, we're truly grateful that you've been a subscriber and hope that you'll continue to seek out the truth, which is incredibly vital in today’s world."I wasn't asked by them to change my review here, I felt to be honest I needed to include this new information about them in this review. Because of their follow up email, I changed my rating from 1 star to 3. It was kind of them to do all they could in this email to reassure and help me with my concerns, on top of the fact they didn't ask me to change my review here, and on top of the fact that they eventually did refund me, it has helped restore some trust in their corporate integrity. I really appreciate when companies take time to do that for their customers.
