I have an Anime Shop on TikTok but my tax Information keeps getting rejected. I am a Sole Proprietor with a DBA registered in NY and have an EIN number. My TikTok profile has me as a corporate business, which is incorrect. I tried fixing this issue multiple times. I have contacted TikTok help center several times and continue to get the same answer- Submit a new W-9 form with correct information. I sent in a new form but it still gets rejected. How do I fix something that is correct? Why do they keep closing my ticket submissions when no help is given! What the hell is going on with this platform? I am losing sales because of their incompetence!
