Despite a confirmed Vrbo reservation, the property was not available when I arrived. The host indicated that the property had been removed from Vrbo 2 months previously. Vrbo left me stranded and Vrbo support did not try to arrange alternate accommodation. I was left in a unfamiliar city at 4pm with nowhere to lay my head for the night thanks to Vrbo. Vrbo's reservation procedures are incompetent and unprofessional. My recommendation is to avoid them like the plague.I've spoken to Vrbo Support about this issue and was left with empty promises and no assurance that Vrbo reservation procedures would be tightened up to prevent such occurrences in the future, so I'm not very impressed so far with the response below from Vrbo suggesting a productive response is coming.
