I am a host. VRBO notified me of fraud on my account, but had already sent my payment to that account. This was April 2024. Eight times I called and each time it was being "escalated" (the word they are taught to use to make it sound important. On July 10, they finally told me I would have to take it up with CitiBank, where the fraudulent account was established. But they couldn't provide me the account number or billing address (even though they had mine). They truly expected CitiBank to just hand over the money. I have been a 20-year customer host of VRBO. When things go right, you don't need customer service. But when you need them, they are useless. Absolutely useless and I hate them so much.
