Following on from my review of Sept 24 I urge any of you who are considering Xero to look elsewhere. They are currently forcing through an 'upgrade' to their invoicing but in reality it is a massive downgrade. I have spoken to my FD & fellow accountant in our company about this and neither are happy with it either. It is cumbersome & not fit for purpose. So many functions now take much longer to perform and the risk of errors is high due to the way processes now have to be carried out. There are many complaints on the Xero community hub about this apparent upgrade but Xero are just not listening to the end user. They clearly don't care. I'd go as far to say don't believe all the 5* reviews, I wonder how many are actual end users (or perhaps they've only just joined so have no idea as to how bad this software has become). I'm leaving my current company shortly and can only hope that my next employer is not using Xero. It may well be a deal breaker for me.
