Four thirty second unstoppable adverts before a one minute video. They’re demonetising people so they get no money from their content but YouTube stick adverts in so that they get their grubby few coins from someone else’s content. It used to be a video hosting site for original and interesting content, now their (possibly racist algorithm judging by the amount of extreme far right videos they recommend) pushes nothing of interest to me and seems to have become solely an advert hosting platform. Content theft generally means the person who has had it stolen has prove it was their, guilty until proven innocent, not the other way round like normal (their rules do not supersede the law, but they think differently). Ironic really since they’re profiting off of other people’s original content while stopping them earning a penny. There’s a word for that, but I can’t use it here.
