EA app ruined my experience.

Bought the Mass Effect Legendary edition on Steam because I've always wanted to try the games and heard so much good about them. It wanted me to install the EA launcher, which in itself is pretty stupid, considering I just want to play a game installed on my computer, but w/e. I try to install the launcher but am met with an error, which doesn't specify what's wrong, so I can't identify the problem. I figure, I need to install the client - not through Steam - but from EA's own website, so I try that and I manage to open the client. The game is nowhere to find in the library, even when I login on Steam. I ended up getting a refund because I couldnt bother spending any more time on simply opening a game I paid for and installed, only because I HAVE to open it through a client that doesn't work properly..... I was furious so I obviously requested a refund through Steam, which wasn't an issue. Steam handled it like a pro in under a few hours.My experience with EA is limited, but the EA App told me everything I need to know. They scare away the customers before they even get to play the game.. I'm typing this while I'm upset, so take it with a grain of salt. The rating, however, stills tands as 1 star.

The worst

The worst. I ordered camera lens on 50% discount, waited 4 weeks and it never arrived. I was at home the whole week, had a sick leave from work. They told me they couldnt find me at home. I wrote on a big peace of paper im home, please ring the bell. Nobody ever came, i just got emails that they could not find me. Customer support from Otto and the transport company was zero, nobody tried to help. They did not even try to find a solution to bring it to me. They just put falce advertisement, but did not want to let the lens go that cheap...

Reached out to support for a product that was defective. I was informed I should "change my review" of the product in exchange for a full refund. Not the way it works. Admittedly, things happen, technical issues occur, communication lines get crossed, etc. And more importantly reviews can and often are updated based on the resolution process. But it is the sole decision of the "reviewer" not the company to dictate that. Bottom line, product was defective, conpany confirmed same yet wanted me to change my review of a non-working product in order to get "my" money back. Could not believe the treatment and responses from the "support" team. Sigh!

Disappointed with Indiegogo - A Cautionary Review

I regret to say that my experience with Indiegogo has been extremely disappointing. It seems that scammers and fraudsters have found the platform to be a fertile ground for their deceptive activities. The reason for this, I believe, is that Indiegogo's rules and regulations are fragile and easily broken.I, myself, fell victim to a scam involving the Rocket Bike campaign. Unfortunately, Indiegogo did not protect me or help recover my lost funds. Instead, they evaded responsibility for the issue as if nothing happened.Please be cautious when dealing with the Indiegogo platform. Be aware that if you contribute to ten campaigns, you may only receive one product out of those ten. I strongly advise potential backers to think twice before getting involved with this platform, as it may not provide the security and support you expect.In summary, I cannot recommend using Indiegogo for crowdfunding due to my negative experience and the apparent prevalence of scams on the platform.

Automation = instant ban. No way to recover. Thanks Meta bots! Can't ever use Facebook again.

As others have said, the entire thing is automated. I got locked out after losing my phone and the account is 'disabled' when I tried to login. However, to appeal the suspension I must log in! There is nobody to talk to and my only way of signing up again is on an e-mail account I can't use. I have 3 months to get an account back with no way of being able to login and that isn't helped by forgetting my password.As is the case with WhatsApp and their really dumb systems... a lot of it is automated and there is nobody to talk to when things go wrong (which is very often).This profile isn't claimed and why should they? Just use an alternative to Facebook. Meta has too much control over society and have zero support for people. The bots they use in a bit to counter bots causes issues for real people wanting to login or sign-up.

Having researched and trialled various security plugins Wordfence wins hands down each time. All our websites are running Wordfence Premium and this plugin has served us very well for several years and the support team are second to none. As a small business there are an array of tasks to take care of and it is a very small price to pay for Wordfence Premium to take care of an extremely important task and is worth every penny.A reliable security plugin is paramount but it goes without saying this must be backed up by a good technical support team who can assist you when there is a problem. The Wordfence technical support goes beyond the call of duty and their knowledge is very reassuring when things go awry with your website.Phil provided an excellent service giving us the confidence we are with the right people who really know what they are doing and can explain and assist in a very succinct, knowledgeable and helpful manner.Having numerous plugins running on a WordPress website can result in all manner of conflicts, never mind issues that maybe caused by the hosting services used which can be a nightmare to unravel without the right technical support at hand.Wordfence not only protects your website from being hacked but provides a wealth of advice and excellent technical support when needed. Thank you very much for providing such a good service.

Outdoor set with wrong components

Just received the delivery my purchase of an outdoor wicker seating set this morning. Very upset and disappointed with the purchase from Wayfair. I spent 8 hours assembling the furniture. I was sent two of the same corners of the seating. Only discovered after assembly. Two right end corners, not a right and a left.Some of the exact same lettered components DO NOT align with the screw holes (part D panels)The wicker material has two different shades of wicker. I purchased a set..not individual seats Three bags of screws…with loose screws in the bags as well, and one extra component to a seat that does not go with any other parts. (Part F)Wayfair says the item is now out of stock so they cannot send replacement parts since there is no scheduled reorder of this item. Only option is a refund contingent of me taking everything apart and repacking it and shipping it back. In order to receive a refund they require me to disassemble the entire set..another 8 hours and then repack the items into the original packaging., which will be extremely difficult if not impossible. THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!This is an ongoing story with Wayfair with most all of your deliveries. The company is horrible and this needs to be resolved. I am not doing all the labor to return your mistakeCustomer service told me that it would be reviewed by management, however ALL I received is return instructions and a return label…no other correspondence that management would be contacting me any further about the delivery. I am absolutely not going to disassemble and repack your mistake and shipment of leftover parts in order to get a refund. It is obvious to me that this set was the last remaining inventory of the set, was most likely a repacked from a return of another customer, and I was knowingly sent two of the same end corners with mis-matching components in order to complete the shipment. Too bad I cannot submit pictures here, but there are several showing the mistake and quality.
