Garmin Navigator VI Connectivity and Map Update Issues

The motorcycle SatNav "Garmin Navigator VI" is supposed to be a premium product at a price tag of £600. It comes with constant issues of poor battery performance and not being able to connect it to PCs. I have raised this with the Garmin helpdesk who told me that I need to purchase map updates before the device can connect to the PC again. When I pointed out that this device was sold to me with free life-long map updates I was disconnected without getting the problem resolved. I have constant issues with this very expensive device and the internet is riddled with similar stories. Save yourself the aggravation. Stay clear of Garmin. Buy a TomTom or use your phone instead.

Beware of repeat charges

The organisation is for profit, and not what I would regard as ethical. They will charge you monthly for support when you think it's a one-off contribution. They make it almost impossible to then cancel your payment. I would question the validity of what happens to your money on this basis alone. The T+C of what you purchase isn't clear, quite the opposite and it's implied it's a one-off purchase for sure. Avoid this organisation at all costs i have now been charge 3 times and found it impossible to block them

ExpressVPN could not be used in China to access foreign Apps, as I was led to believe. As matter of fact, accessibility was practical nil. My free VPN proved to be more valuable to me which allowed me to access Google maps, Yahoo email, etc.

Telstra forcibly put me on paperless bill sending it to my e-mail.From beginning so far so good then all of sudden they removed box which is to send me 6 digits code.Only box left was to send me code by mobile phone which I do not have.Irony is they left writing asking me where I want code to be sent mobile or e-mail,which they removed.Comedy continues I rung them and ask from now on to send my bill by post.All agreed lady told me it will cost me $2.20 to send it by post,which I agree.Then my next bill come by e-mail,which I could not process,not by post as agreed.I would not give any star to Telstra I just want to know what are they smoking I want some.Or could it be forced jab,like they try to force me to have mobile by removing by e-mail box?HEY TELSTRA IF YOU WANT MONEY FROM ME YOU BETTER PUT THAT BOX BY E-MAIL as I'm not getting mobile any time soon.In meantime I'm looking for another provider.Sorry that after 50 years with you I'm looking to divorce you.

When I actually got to communicate to someone, it was fine, getting there was a nightmare. As with everywhere else it seems big companies do there utmost to avoid personal contact, and it was only after slogging through the automated chat that I got the opportunity to Email someone. Me being 87 doesn't help either.

Our company wasted SO much money on this platform. . . not only was it useless and had no return, the CEO idiot Jack Dorsey became so obsessed with turning his company into a liberal political platform that censors and silences innocent voices in overt acts of ideological racism. If violates at least the PRINCIPLES of Free Speech inherent in pretending to be a public square/platform, and at most the trust of its users with unfettered and indiscriminate removal of content on vague and unequally applied policies. We will be moving our business elsewhere and investing our advertising dollars in platforms that do not discriminate, are not racist on the base of skin color OR party color. We are intolerant of intolerance.

One of the reviews that I read I completely agree with, Twitter only supports terrorism in all forms and they and for a social media site don't mind showing people being beaten up and they exploit violence at all levels. What gets me is there no difference in Biden that's because Biden loves to text children so pedophilia it's something that people are against just like raping a child or child pronography it seems like they're really into that stuff Twitter is probably the most Satan worshipping and demented of all people on this planet I mean these aren't even real people these are monsters they're doing the devil's work give me do it but then I think his name is Jack Dorsey very very evil person very very evil monster I need a band because of some information that I found an article on AOC and then I got attacked by people because of my t w e e t. So I got banned for something that I heard. And I do agree with one of these replies that once you give your phone number they hack into your phone every part of your computer you name it there hacking. This is a white supremist communist social media site. It's almost like the Aryan heads are running the show but then again so is the Taliban
