Review of paypal

Lose money silently. Too easy for automatic payments to go on year after year with no notification.

I found that a half dozen accounts that upon initial purchase transitioned to auto pay. You have to dig to find that some forgotten accounts have been slurping your money for years.

Review of mercari

Mercari does not protect the buyers on…

Mercari does not protect the buyers on there site.Buyer can get scammed, abused by the seller and Mercari does nothing.Mercari lets the Sellers leave bad spiteful reviews about buyers if they don’t rate right away or if they leave honest feedback about a bad experience. Mercari is unethical, and I would never shop on this app!

Review of asos

ASOS Ignores Faulty Product Complaints – Beware!

I’ve been a loyal ASOS customer, but I’m extremely disappointed with how my recent return was handled. I returned a coat that developed fabric bubbling and a top that caused a skin reaction due to the elastic, yet ASOS refused to acknowledge these as faults. Instead of issuing a proper refund, they provided a voucher and dismissed my concerns.I repeatedly tried escalating the issue, but ASOS ignored my complaints and kept copy-pasting generic responses instead of addressing the actual product defects. Even after requesting a formal complaints process, they avoided giving me any clear next steps. It’s clear that ASOS does not take faulty product complaints seriously. Their approach is to delay, dismiss, and deflect rather than genuinely assist customers. If you’re considering shopping at ASOS, be warned—if you receive a faulty product, don’t expect fair treatment. I’ll be escalating this to Trading Standards and consumer protection bodies to ensure this issue is properly addressed.

Review of dreamhost

Support is everything..

Support is everything... I had issues where I wasn't receiving emails from a vendor and support went above and beyond to isolate the issue. He was super patient, offered multiple things to try and made sure that I was happy with the outcome. It's refreshing to find people who care. P.S. It wasn't dreamhost's fault. The vender never actually sent the emails!

Review of delta

JFK nightmare

My flight into JFK was delayed due to storms in the JFK area. I don't blame Delta for that. However. Delta mismanaged the situation %100 once I arrived. Terminal 4 was packed, standing room only. The line to the only open counter stretched all the way back into the back of the terminal. Delta employees were loudly telling passengers "we're closed come back tomorrow!". Delta clearly has no emergency plans in place. I waited in line 8 hours to speak with an agent to be told that my flight was re-booked and my luggage would be forwarded to my final destination. I spent the night of the concrete floor. I noticed that my TSA pre-check info was absent from my boarding so I waited in line again to speak to an agent as I had nothing else to do, and once they added the TSA pre-check info I was again told that the luggage would be forwarded to my final destination and I didn't need to re-check it. When I finally arrived at my final destination almost TWO DAYS later, my luggage wasn't on the flight and no one at Delta knows where it is. My baggage contains items left to me by my mother after her passing that can't be replaced. Never again Delta.

Terrible fake company

Terrible fake company. I think they only post good reviews for a company if you pay them for it. They will remove legitimate reviews and won’t show them to the public even though they are real experiences. Awful.

Review of ups

Absolutely Furious with UPS

Absolutely Furious with UPS – Worst Experience EverIf I could give ZERO stars, I would. UPS completely failed me from start to finish.First of all, they never sent me ANY email, text, or notification that I had to pay custom charges. No heads-up, no link, no communication — NOTHING. And then suddenly they tried to deliver my parcel without warning. The driver came and rang the doorbell. Guess what? My bell doesn’t even work! And I wasn’t home because — like a normal adult — I HAVE A JOB. So what do they do? They just take the parcel back. No attempt to leave it at the door, no call, no note, NOTHING. This parcel was extremely important to me and they treated it like trash. Then comes the worst part: customer service. I called in to try to fix things and the woman on the phone was disgustingly rude and LAUGHING while I was explaining my problem. She actually said, “If you’re not home, that’s not our problem.” Excuse me? Are we supposed to just sit by the door 24/7 and guess when UPS might show up?I even asked if I could just pay the customs online and have them leave the parcel at the door. She said, “Ma’ammmmm, we don’t have that option.” No solution, no empathy, just pure attitude. So now what? I’m supposed to skip work to babysit the door for UPS?This is beyond ridiculous. I’ve never seen such poor communication, careless handling, and straight-up disrespect from a company. UPS — get your act together. People have jobs, lives, and responsibilities. If you're going to run a delivery service, at least pretend to care about delivering the actual packages.NEVER trusting UPS again. Ever.

We are in business and still can't do things right (legal induction failure book).Every time package wants to be in delay mode, other than that sellers providing with tracking number which can't be recognised on their website. In worst case scenarios (expensive) item can be lost on their way and even mountains of paperwork can't resolve this issue.

Review of duolingo

I want to go to Italy soon

I want to go to Italy soon. I tried duo lingo and enjoyed it at first. I was learning about trains, food etc. Perfect for travel. Then it began teaching me every animal in the zoo, talking about ice skating and other situations which most Italians don’t need to know, let alone a tourist. I have been at it for months, yet still don’t know days of the week, months or numbers. It also went very slowly in the beginning and now throws new words out in rapid fire. It is easy to guess the translations from the word bank that make the most sense. However, that does not mean that I actually “know” the material. I will not renew my subscription.

Review of duolingo

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. 12 modules in, they completely changed my course, which changed the 12 I'd done. So I had a full set of words and phrases I'd never been taught to be tested on. The only solution was to fully reset, taking me back to square 1 all over again. They won't offer a refund as I'm locked into a one year contract despite how bad they've been.
