Twitter suspended my account for infringement of their policies, something which I accept but disagree with. However, since it has been suspend I have decided I'm more than happy not to have a twitter account & want to delete it but twitter are preventing me from doing so. As the account is suspended I can't sign in to deactivate it & despite repeated emails twitter will not deactivate the account for me. Not only won't they deactivate the account but they have started sending me (only since the suspension) 'spam' emails with all the tweets they are preventing me from seeing. I don't know whether twitter has a perverse nature or just badly run but I certainly wish I'd never had an account with them & would recommend that they should be avoided.
