Review of groupon

Groupon is not the company when you need help…

Groupon offer great savings, though extremely poor customer service. There is no way to reach out a living being. Really SAD. I had a terrible experience with a merchant and there is no way to resolve it as I can’t reach out to anyone at Groupon. Time to focus on Customer Service

Review of clover

Be aware the third-party the clover…

Be aware the third-party the clover uses to process your credit cards i they side with chargeback fraudsters I run a business in the mall in from time to time we will get a charge back from people that found an item cheaper elsewhere and couldn't return it with us due to our policy which is posted at our establishment and on our receipt. Customer will make frivolous claims about the product being used on authentic etc. or even damaged and nine out of 10 times the credit card companies will side with a customer I lose revenue as well as my product and I half an puff about it all day long nobody cares Go with the square system instead at least they offer a chargeback protection up to $250 a month and all my chargebacks that I've had with them more grounded in my favor even though you're paying a couple of bucks more every month they won't randomly just deduct money out of your account when you get a chargeback with clovers third-party credit card processors they shamelessly take the money out of your account without telling you at least with square they give you the decency and respect to contest the chargeback and NEVER suck the money out of your account just like that. Boo and shame on you credit card processing companies that side with chargeback fraudsters and deprive small business of profits just because it's politically correct and in the culture of the company. Disgusting practice

Review of ubisoft

No Real Support – Just a Cheap Bot Behind a Human Name

I contacted Ubisoft Support regarding a DLC (Star Wars Outlaws: Desert Nomad Bundle) that didn’t show up in-game after purchasing it via Steam. I provided all necessary evidence: Steam invoice, file tree, in-library screenshots – everything. What followed was a loop of copy-paste replies, asking for the same “proof” I had already submitted multiple times. They ignored my answers, misinterpreted facts, and repeated misleading or outright false claims — like saying I bought it outside Steam (despite a Steam invoice and the game installed via Steam). Even after I told them I had resolved the issue on my own, they kept replying as if none of my messages were read. This wasn’t just bad support — there was no human support at all. Every message looked like it came from a low-end language model, not a person. No comprehension. No logic. No continuity in the conversation. Just templated, mechanical responses. If you run into technical problems with a Ubisoft product, don’t expect help. You’ll be stuck explaining basic facts to a chatbot wearing a human name tag.

Review of delta

Flying with Delta cost us hundreds of pounds and considerable inconvenience/distress

After many weeks/months of writing to Delta/Air France/Virgin Airlines, our claim for compensation for cancelled flights, missing connections and an unexpected overnight stay in New York, our claim has been rejected by Delta - partners of Virgin Airlines. My husband and I booked flights with Virgin Atlantic to Jamaica to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Our return flight from Montego Bay was scheduled via New York to Manchester. The flight from Jamaica was with Delta, an affiliated partner of Virgin Airlines. This flight was cancelled and by the time we arrived at JFK, our connecting flight to Manchester had left. In addition to the inconvenience of missing our onward flight back to the UK, our experience of a 5 hour immigration queue through JFK was horrendous! Passengers from 4 flights waited in line for hours with the elderly and young visibly distressed. Only 2 check-in desks were available with no assistance nor representatives from Delta or Virgin Airlines. We were abandoned by Delta and left to find our own accommodation in New York at 3am and to make our own way back to the airport the next morning. We made a claim to Delta and Virgin Airlines for compensation for cancelled flights, lengthy delays and accommodation and taxi costs. Our request was refused on the grounds that our 'full itinerary started and ended in countries that are outside the European Union. The European Court of Justice has ruled that the legal compensation set by the EC Regulation 261/2004 does not apply to such an ‘itinerary'Delta has the discretion to award us compensation but have consistently refused to do so. Travellers should be more aware of their travel rights (or otherwise!) before booking with Virgin Atlantic and their affiliated partners.Given that we are significantly out of pocket and booked our flights with Virgin Atlantic directly, surely the company has some obligation to compensate us for our reasonable costs? Our phone calls to customer services are re-directed to the website and it is impossible to speak to any representative of the company! We will not be using the service of Delta or Virgin Airlines again!

Review of welt

Lies Lies Lies Lies

Lies Lies Lies Lies. Always with some little truth from the (very) few good journalists like Henryk M. Broder or Anna Schneider in between. But most of the times they spread lies, especially about the so called far-right (which in reality is nothing more than what would be the center-conservative opinion from 10 years ago). Also notable, they *sometimes* interview people, the state media completely refuses to interview which is good, but not without sprinkling their lies over it afterwards. For some reason I still come back to them, just to know what narrative they want to or are instructed to spread. But if media companies like this would be our only source of information... goodbye humanity. It seams that telling truth nowadays takes courage, which this media company does not have anymore.

Review of squarespace

Zero customer support

This is the worst company. I am sorry I ever used them for domains. Oh yeah, I didn't, I used Google and then they sold their domain management to Squarespace. There's no support at all. Their website says E-mail is the preferred solution but when you send them an email they say email support is not supported. Their chat agent is the worst, doesn't work properly on mobile and has a very small message limit to even start a case, and then there's no submit button. How is it that this company is still in business?

Review of duolingo

Surrounded by Ads

Have been using Duolingo for 1493 days now, & it's well done except it advertises you to death, to the point where there are as many ads as coursing. The more something applies pressure, the more I won't do it, so am quite sick of constant ads - including Temu XMas ads in April. I've learned a lot, but it's all set up to sell & not learn unless they're selling. Tried the music part, & it quickly maxed out - but it had only covered maybe 20% of music.
