Unfortunately, Booking.com dominates much of the short-term rental market, but in my experience, they fall short in several critical areas—particularly when it comes to host support.Recently, I dealt with one of the worst guests I’ve had in thousands of stays. From the start, they were trying to scam me out of a free night. They showed up two hours early, were irate they couldn’t access the property, and I still accommodated them with an early check-in, one hour before standard time.Within minutes of entering, they called complaining that the couch was "too hard" and expected a completely different one. Keep in mind, this was a budget-friendly unit renting for $100/night. They insisted I upgrade them to one of my 3- or 5-bedroom properties priced between $300 and $500/night. I declined.Next, the wife called demanding a discount on the already discounted rate. Again, I said no—but I did offer a full refund if they chose to leave. Instead, they stripped the bed and “found a hair,” which they deemed unacceptable. When I pressed further, she admitted the sheets had “probably been washed,” acknowledging the hair could’ve been from the laundry process. Still, she continued angling for a refund.At this point, I asked them to vacate with 100% of their money back. They refused. I contacted Booking.com to explain that it was unacceptable for such an abusive guest—Erika Nelson, Reservation #4489431677—to stay, exploit my property, and then have the opportunity to leave a retaliatory review.Booking.com's customer service initially agreed and assured me that if the guest insisted on staying, they wouldn’t be allowed to leave a vindictive review. But predictably, they did exactly the opposite. When I followed up, another rep told me that “guests can leave any review they want,” so long as it doesn’t include profanity or hate speech.I explained that the issue wasn’t the written policy—it was that Booking.com made a commitment to me as a host. Their reps asked for my info and the reservation number but clearly never read the conversation history. I escalated to a supervisor, only to have the call drop—yet another “customer no-service” tactic.After 2.5 hours wasted today alone, I gave up. I’m now committed to sharing my experience across every platform possible.The real problem isn’t just the lack of support—it’s that Booking.com makes false promises, possibly just to close tickets and silence frustrated hosts. Of all the platforms I’ve worked with, Booking.com has been by far the worst in handling host concerns with integrity.

A completely hopeless and out dated government organisation that is not fit for purpose. Everything about it is slow, ponderous and flat footed. You call the number to led down a rabbit warren of menus only to put on hold for hours. I finally gave up. Also we only called them due to the heavy handed letter they sent out to thousands of people demanding money with menace. I am already registered, for what I hasten to add. It seems more a of a vanity project just to raise money than secure data. You could of gone to London Zoo and got a trained gibbon to deal with the form you need to fill out. It just beggars the question, what is the point of the ICO? Think SIA, think ICO, they're all the same. All they want to do get you online! It's not our fault that the whole ICO thing costs more money than it generates. I am assuming there are other privacy laws that govern data in the UK without having to resort to this?

The courses are very hands on, at the same time you will get more references to go deep on theory. The projects are world class in my opinion. The dificulty of the course can be quite challenging, somethimes can also count with some troubleshoot to set the environment, with hellp AI it is managle this part.

I have been a paper subscriber for several years and I use the App on my Kindle Fire as a useful back up for when I am away or travelling. Suddenly a week ago I was unable to download new editions for no apparent reasons. An email to them has gone unacknowledged or unanswered. From being a usable App this is suddenly awful. What a shambles which needs sorting urgently.

Target your staff needs to get it together. I have an allstate protection policy that should have been returned with the laptop I took back not sure why the target employee didnt return it as well, knowing I did not want or need it I never activated or used and would like my money back for but I keep getting the run around from every single employee that helps me, it clearly states it can be returned yet , I keep getting told no, except over the phone but I can only get store credit. You guys need a refresher course and better customer service skills. I will no longer be purchasing any electronics or policy's again. As well as rest of my shopping will be done elsewhere. And the redwood city location has the rudest employees ever barley looked at my receipt or policy plan.

Everything went great, only I press by mistake that I want my tickets to be protected with I understood that I will come for sure, but that was some kind of insurance and 2 days later after buying tickets I got message that I will be charged 15 dollars more for that policy ( totally unfair) there supposed to be a note and price what exactly that kind of protection is and how much it cost!!!!!

This company over charged me $10 over the same trip I had a week ago. The driver has got nothing to do with it. If I knew that the company would do that, I would have taken the bus. However, I was running late so I had no choice. There was no traffic and the driver took the same route. I tried to contact the office but to this time there was ko response. Would I use LYFT again? The hell I will. Would I recommend it to others? Use UBER or a regular taxi. There's nothing special about this company aside from ripping off people whenever they can.

After a month of not being able to withdraw the support available to fix anything is crap . They have failed to get back to me the even failed to tell me the blocks put on my account for my own good where now lifted after a month but one chat support agent Confirmed when I contacted them that 5 days before all the Verifications where complete . So I tried to withdraw a little to check and found myself back in the verification process. Then another support agent told me that I would have to wait again 24 to 48 hours .Last month I was told a similar story and over a month later my funds have been kidnapped . Bet Brian Armstrong doesn't know what is going on . They messed up with the leakage of information and now the customer has to pay the price . Just hope I get my money ?? 🙏Coinbase has replied 11mins ago saying they have emailed about this case and that is a lie have did not get this email (spam checked ) I get all their proganda emails . Not surprised now as it seems a once respected company has fallen into Hell 🔥 more lies .
