Review of edx

Smooth Learning Experience

I have used both edX and Coursera. I find edX also as a good place for online learning with various course offerings. As a verified member, I found the course exam process easy to follow.

Do not use these absolute clowns!

Do not use these absolute clowns. you will pay for items that you don't receive, the seller disappears, your dispute is ignored. Worst rubbish I have encountered online.

Their customer service is horrible

Their customer service is horrible. They continued to charge me for a app fee monthly and made it almost impossible to cancel. I still haven't canceled it. You call them and they transefer you over and over again. Go with another POS.

Review of asos

I’m done with asos

I’m done with asos. After spending thousands a year on clothes, shoes, makeup and presents- I have officially given up.The clothes used to be decent now they’re cheap, material is itchy and shrinks. Clothes sometimes come with make up or smelling of cigarettes and the sizing is all over the place. Returns are a nightmare and they penalise loyal customers on this. Yet they don’t bother to look at their internal structure? Hm. Whats the point spending £50 on a top for it to fall to pieces after one wash? And what’s the POINT in a customer service team that doesn’t give two flying 🖕 Asos will definitely put themselves into an administration if they don’t get it sorted.

The Etsy and Printful integration is almost seamless. It works very well and is easy to set up, even for a beginner like me. I recommend Printful to new print on demand users. It's been a great way to build clientele.

Review of scribd

Does Scribd make money with stolen content?

Their statement:"Scribd (including Scribd.com and the Scribd mobile app) is a digital self-publishing and subscription reading service provider based in the United States of America. Our members and publishing partners provide content without pre-approval by Scribd."Someone published a text there, that he had taken from my website. Of course without informing me.It is now MY time I have to invest to get that theft removed. I have no idea if the uploader was rewarded, or if someone has already payed for reading the complete text. THIS IS A NO GO How can someone know, that someone has stolen his text to maybe make money. Ok, even when they remove the mentioned content on demand: HOW does someone come to the idea, that his text is uploaded? THIS is it, what should be prevented from the beginning!HOW can anyone steal text and upload it, without letting the author know? As far as I know, Scribd would not let me know WHO did it.

Review of Microsoft

I use Microsoft and Windows products

I use Microsoft and Windows products. In the middle of my work, I go to the toilet — and Windows decides to update, restart, and close everything without saving my work. Whoever designed Windows to behave like this deserves to burn in hell.

Review of hotels

Huge Reward Programme Reduction

They've just announced a massive downgrade to their reward programme but communicated it as an improvement.. I've used Hotels.com for years & spent over £20k with them, but will go elsewhere as rather than getting the equivalent of 10% of your booking back through a reward night they're changing it to 2%, so rather than get a free night every ten bookings it's now every 50.

Buggy and no developer support

Horrible developer support. They release buggy firmware updates. They released a firmware update that made some of your widgets to stop working properly. As a developer, I can't trust them any more.

Review of itv

Absolute rubbish streaming

Absolute rubbish. I have a smart TV, and the ITV APP is the ONLY App that prompts me to tune in either through ariel or cable!!! WTH...I try to watch via a browser with ITVx and when registering states my postcode is incorrect or something went wrong...with no other solution to resolve it. The project manager of ITV hub needs to be replaced, overcomplicated, outdated. Cannot believe ITV won the rights/licence to broadcast the England matches when they are OLD SCHOOL and want everyone to watch via cable or ARIAL!!!! probably to try to keep all their sponsors/advertisers happy...well those sponsors/advertisers wasted thousands of pounds!

The agency completely screwed up my trip to Macchu Pichu and didn’t offer me a refund. I involved GetYourGuide and they offered me a refund of £80 when my total spend was about £1000. Never using GetYourGuide or this agency again. Writing an article about them for DailyMail too.

Review of adafruit

Adafruit is an excellent supplier.

I’m a hobbyist hardware hacker, and I regularly need specialist parts and supplies. Adafruit is always good for parts, tools, kids, and even gifts. Their shipping is fast, their products are incredibly high-quality, and their customer service is outstanding. Adafruit also has a lot of excellent learning resources, and they give back to the community quite a lot. Today I got another order from them, a bunch of storage containers for projects and parts, as well as some kits for practice. They’re all great and I can’t wait for the weekend.
