I booked two hire cars through Booking.com (Rentalcars.com) on the same day for a business-critical deployment. Both bookings failed.First booking: Refused at the Europcar counter due to a new “inbound flight only” policy that was not disclosed clearly at time of booking. We were told to seek a refund from Booking.com.Second booking (AVIS): Confirmed and paid for. My colleague walked 20 minutes to the AVIS location, only to be told there were no vehicles available. Again, advised to seek a refund from Booking.com.I then had to arrange a third car at my own expense and cover a £55 Uber fare to keep our team moving.The response from Booking.com has been farcical. Eight different agents replying across multiple chains. Each one ignoring the context, re-requesting information already provided, and deflecting responsibility with boilerplate GDPR nonsense—even though I was the account holder, the payer, and the person managing the bookings.Still no refund. Still no compensation. Still no accountability.Avoid this platform at all costs. If something goes wrong, you’ll be left chasing your own tail.

Everything was great until i went from a family outing to come back to my room and my card didn’t work I had to go back and back and they had to get a key to open like what? And there’s people running around banging on the doors and there people coming to the heated pool with ice and throwing it into water and there’s screaming and there’s trouble turning up or down the heat and no lifeguards are in the pool

I was charged $400 by Domestika when I believed I was only paying for a $1 course. Despite my attempts to resolve the issue, Domestika has refused to refund me, blocked me on social media when I tried to voice my concerns, and sent generic, unhelpful responses to my support inquiries. I feel scammed as I was lured in by a misleading promotion, and they are now insisting it is part of their policy to keep my money. This $400 was taken without my consent, and I do not wish to avail of the service. I am seeking a full refund as this situation feels like blatant exploitation.

Paid $800+ for the Product Manager course. It was so underwhelming that I couldn't bring myself to finish it even after sinking that amount of money. I didn't learn anything I didn't already know, the platform constantly asks for feedback but seems no one does anything about it and the projects force you to pitch, put together roadmaps etc on products that literally no-one would care about. Given the price of the course and the access to tutors, I would have thought this would be customizable but no. Don't waste your time or money!

When I subscribed to Medium Corporation's service a year ago I did not read the fine print that they automatically make the annual charge recurring, now unwittingly incurring another annual fee. I now find there is no way to recover my loss. This is unconscionable. There probably was no clear indication that the annual fee was set to recur.Do not deal with this rip-off company. Stay well clear of these rip-off merchants.

I left my jacket in the Lyft drivers car and tried to call customer service. It directed me to the app. On the Lyft app I got no response from the driver and very little assistance from the digital assistant. It said It would contact the driver for me but I have no idea if it did because I got no response! There’s no way to speak to anyone!!! This is horrible! The jacket was keepsake from my deceased mother! There’s no way I could ever replace it! To get this type of horrible customer service is ridiculous!!! I will NEVER use Lyft again!!!!
