Review of freshbooks
On the face of it this system ticks all the boxes. As you start to work with it, there are some quirks that are just irritating, and some issues that just make it unusable.Starting with the big one, the MTD functionality is broken and has been for some time. With no ETA on getting it fixed I'm currently having to do my tax returns manually by exporting data to csv files. This really does defeat the object of the software. I've raised 3 tickets with customer support, 1 of which was just ignored. The other 2 is basically, we know we've got an issue just bear with us. I only found this out after getting a HMRC audit, where the numbers that were generated are wildly wrong.Some other quirks are: The invoicing system could work really well, but you have to email a freshbooks link to your customers to open which just looks cheap and almost 'scam'like. Why is there not an option to send a template email and pdf invoice? The mileage tracker is only available on the app. So you cant view, edit or add any mileage expenses on a desktop PC. I just gave up with this functionality. How can I audit it? The Receipts you upload will show as a duplicate expense to an already imported bank expense. You either use the uploading receipts or the importing of bank expenses. They dont seem to be compatible with eachother, you'll find yourself getting irritated deleting duplicates. Supplier refunds are a nightmare. You have to manually adjust these on the PL. Why is there not a function on the expense? I'm not sure the data is easily exported from Freshbooks if you want to port it over to another software, so do yourself a favour and choose a better software suite from the off!07/11/23: Just an update to the review from July. It's now been 9 months since registering with Freshbooks. There has been no changes to the above points. 6 months down the line the Making Tax Digital functionality still doesn't work. As a business have you no shame in taking peoples money and not delivering on your promises? I'll raise another ticket tonight and see if I can get an update with at least an ETA for when the VAT returns don't have to be manually created by myself.

I ordered a hoodie top. It shows as dispatched by USPS and held in Germany by customs (was being sent to Australia) for 4 weeks. Absolutely NO customer service from these people. They don’t care. Good luck if you order something. I would not recommend.

In the last 2 months, I start deposit checks in my business account from my job with transport, and now the bank put my all checks in hold. Long holds, and don’t explain to me what problems. All time a different excuse. I need my money from this checks for continue my job and my plan diary!

Paid 25 pounds for burger chips and off brand cola! Promo said buy one take one, i bought one and only got one. When I asked for a refund, i onky got 4.16 which is a joke! Checked online and the price of the burger is actually just 8.95. What a huge markup! No real chat support or customer service. Absolutely horrible, uninstalling

Shame I can’t give no stars. Rubbish interfaces, dated awful content. I have stopped even opening Prime TV and just assume I will struggle to find something to watch. With loads of deliveries not next day with prime anymore I think it’s time to cancel. Was so good and has completely lost its way and deserves to fall.

I order all my parts to build a pc from newegg, then the first problem i had was that products were missing in the packaged but showed delivered, i tried to help from them but they were not helpful at all. Then i had to return a faulty component back which i did and no update on replacement or refund. Got in contact with them and no luck. I recommend amazon instead because they have way better customer service.

I wish i could give this 0 stars - this is by far the worst experience I have ever had. The laptop they shipped me was broken. At first, I was okay with a replacement order, but then the order was going to be delayed for more than a month so I canceled the order. But despite my wish, they still shipped the laptop to me so I had to call to return it (because apparently, I cannot do this online). I called to return the order, but the shipping label was not emailed to me within the 2-day time frame they gave me (even though last time the replacement order shipping label came within in day!). I called again multiple times and the call was dropped multiple times, even the latter times when I informed them of this problem and asked the agents to take care not to drop the call. I am still waiting on my shipping label as of now - this is an urgent issue for me due to moving, but Dell does not seem to understand and seems to be withholding from helping me return the laptop and get my refund. Horrible experience and hours wasted being put on hold - I will never buy from Dell again and I will be sure to warn everyone I know how terribly unreliable Dell customer order support is.

AbeBooks is a terrific site for used books. Plenty of novels published a few years ago are listed under $4 dollars! And these cheap copies are usually ex-library books in pristine condition (be warned, there are more than a few stickers plus tape; apply heat before pealing). It takes about 1.5-2 weeks to receive a book. Occasionally the covers are different than what's shown in the photo but I attribute this problem to individual sellers rather than AbeBooks. It's the seller's responsibility to provide a photo and indicate the edition. If you're ordering books for school, be sure to order early. Obscure works or textbooks may take longer to arrive.
