This is my experience and opinion of owning Google WiFi pro. Google WiFi pro not that good. I have 4 repeaters one of which is plugged into the switch on the back of my sky modem. The Google WiFi pro cannot be hardwired as there’s only one rj45 port on each unit, therefore they rely on being able to communicate with each other wirelessly. They will work well for periods of time, then for no apparent reason they stop, constantly dropping internet or connection to phone / device. I had 3 Netgear orbi for 10 years, they could be hardwired to each other as they have multiple rj45 ports, but didn’t have to, they never dropped connections to either internet or phone / device. Tried reaching out to google for help but got no response. Really frustrating. Think carefully before buying. Next time I’m buying WiFi it will be netgear agsin.
