I don't normally use this type of forum to complain about companies as I'd rather complain to them directly. But Agoda is too much. I booked a flight for my mother but did not notice that my phone's autocorrect changed her name. This sent me down a rabbit hole of emails, calls, speaking to a different person each time, just to get the name amended. Not only did it take 2 weeks to even get a price for the amendment, they sent the price change by email and gave me 2 hours to respond. By the time I finished work and checked my email several hours later, they said it was no longer valid and they had to repeat the process. This went on for at least another week without any way for me to know when they were going to email (sometimes during my night time), and then to be able to reply within the 2 hour timeframe.When I finally managed to get the price and made my payment, I then never got any email back to say it was done. Every time I sent an email inquiry, I would get a system generated email back saying I needed to pay for the change (which I already had). Anyway it's been three weeks on and the name change hasn't been done yet, and everyday they tell me, oops the fare has gone up again and you need to pay more. This is the second time in as many months that I've been stuck with Agpda's rubbish service. Never again. I have never had the same issues with Expedia or booking.com.
