Customer service is non existent, language barrier, or just laziness?Booked through Agoda online this morning, and as I was paying I realised that I had typed the incorrect email address, so I tried to cancel the booking.I immediately phoned Agoda and was told they needed a Booking ID, which I didn’t have. I gave him my name and phone number and he said he still needed a booking ID. He said he couldn’t find anything, so to book again! Although I might be charged twice for a duplicate booking.I decided to call Agoda back and try and speak to someone else. I think it was the same person that I had spoken to earlier and we got cut off after after a few minutes.I thought I’d try calling them again, 3rd time lucky.This time I spoke to a lady, she asked for the booking ID, and when I explained the situation the line went quiet and she didn’t come back!I rang my bank in the end and they confirmed that the money had been taken out of my account.
