I had the misfortune of booking a hotel on this website. Upon arrival, the receptionist told me that the room was "not available" due to "overbooking".I immediately reported the issue to Agoda customer service. Their employee said he would call the property within 15 minutes. The receptionist and I waited for his call, but no call came. I then asked why that hotel is even allowed to advertise on Agoda, to which they didn't give a reply. They also tried to call me so that I wouldn't have written evidence of their response.I have just checked on their website again: that hotel is still advertising! Meaning no action was taken.
