The bar is set by Amazon in the US so when traveling to France we are consistently frustrated with the service. Orders supposedly "rejected" by the pick up location and returned with no reason given until I pursue chatting with an agent who says it supposedly was damaged. Really? No proof of this. So they order a replacement. Says expedited and then delayed again and again. Second item ordered was something very important and chosen bc of the quick delivery date. Non stop delays and confusion on the tracking service. First it says arriving today, then it says delayed, then it says it can't be delivered, then nothing. After contacting customer service multiple times I finally get an email both items were delivered (to the pick up location address I selected from Amazon.fr) - 4 days late. I run to the location before they close only to be told nothing has arrived for us. Amazon says it was delivered - but clearly not. This has happened to us before when vacationing in France and our daughter lives in France and says it happens all the time to her. Things are returned to sender for no apparent reason or never show up. Ridiculous
