When I signed up for the Amex Gold card, I was under the impression that it included complimentary Priority Pass lounge access. I only discovered the charges after I received my bill – and I had already visited multiple lounges by then, assuming access was free.I’ve contacted Amex to dispute the charges and raise concerns about how this benefit is marketed, but have received no helpful response. For a premium credit card, this level of transparency and customer service is completely unacceptable. I now intend to cancel my Amex account entirely. Really disappointing experience.
