I have been a customer for decades. Amex used to have the best customer service in the industry. Now it’s the worst. I’m in a dispute with an online company with highly dubious tactics and tens of thousands of complaints with BBB and AmEx has chosen to take the word of this sham business over mine. The customer service representative from the fraud unit even claimed that the business in question is used by himself and AmEx. That could explain a lot. I’m paying my card off and ending my decades long relationship with AmEx asap.
