Gave up watching BBC news about 3 months ago, and genuinely feel better for it. Gave up paying the licence fee too, and feel better off for that too. Tried Sky instead, which was only marginally better, leading me ( rather disappointingly) to France24, which has a straightforward presentation and a far less sickly narrative , but don’t watch that often either. .
