Faulty product out of warranty

Bought some nice earbuds a few years (3) ago. Not used to much and recently found out that one side is empty in one hour (6 to 7 hours before), the other side is still 70% left. The internet is full of information about this faulty product (Sony wf-1000xm4). Provided all the information to Bol but they won't repair the device without costs. Told that a faulty designed product is always under warranty.The only answer I got is, it's not under warranty and basic I'm screwed. What a unpleasant treatment. Was the last time I bought something at Bol. Also sent a complain to the consumentenbond. This is so not nice.
