This is my second attempt to resolve a recurring problem with a reservation made on Booking.com. Right after finalizing the purchase, I noticed an error in the reservation data. The payment was still pending on my Wise card, and I immediately contacted Booking.com and the accommodation via email and chat — with no response.After several failed attempts, I had to make a paid international call to Booking support. There I was informed that they would contact the accommodation and, if they did not receive a response within two days, I should call again, which is absurd considering the cost and my previous effort.The accommodation responded that they could change the data, with a possible additional charge, and I accepted the condition. However, I never received a response, neither from them nor from Booking. Now, I receive a standard response from the accommodation informing me that changes must be made through Booking.com, and Booking keeps redirecting me to the accommodation. In other words, a real game of push and pull while time passes and nothing is resolved.I am a Brazilian exchange student, and the value of the reservation means a lot to me. I have several emails, printouts, phone calls and proof of attempts to contact me, and I am willing to pay the difference in value, if necessary, as long as they resolve the change of information.I have already sent numerous messages, I have been waiting for days for a solution, and I continue to receive automatic, generic responses without any concrete action.I am deeply frustrated with the lack of respect, anxious with the uncertainty, and feel helpless by a company as large as Booking.com. I urgently request that you take responsibility, mediate the change of the reservation with the accommodation and resolve this situation in a fair and professional manner.
