What happened to caring about the customer?

I think if you never really need customer service for anything the company operates fine. If you find your self in any circumstance where you need some empathy and understanding you are on your own. Everyone you speak to is outsourced and at times hard to understand. I had a medical issue that put me in a bit of a tough financial spot. All I kept getting told was the computer didn't populate an extension. That loan extension would have made it so I didn't have to take out a pay day loan to pay the car payment that month. They still get their money. It is just one extra month I am paying them at the end of my term. They still won't do the extension and it has been months. I have asked to talk to someone who can understand what I am saying, but it never gets me anywhere. I actually had the one person helping me ask me if my situation was due to a natural disaster after I had told her exactly why I had been late on my payment. It's very frustrating when the customer doesn't matter. I am trying to see if I can refinance and find a company that can give me a few months grace period at this point to catch up this loan.
