Money Hungry Business

I purchased the 3-month subscription with plans to cancel it before it renewed 3 months later. Although I was able to find a person quickly for the care I needed, when I went to cancel my subscription, the representative didn't actually cancel the service on their end and care.com charged me to for a second 3-month subscription. They didn't even have the decency to send an email that they were going to charge me like most other subscription based services do. If they had, I would have been able to contact them yet again to try to cancel the service. When I complained 2 days after being charged, they said there's a no-refund policy, gaslit me, and stiff armed me into not refunding me the money that was unjustly charged. I'm so disappointed in this type of business practice and hopeful that a competitor will come up next to it to have a more fair business practice.
