I just spent an hour trying to pay for Claude and realized that they don't offer support for Pro account signup issues! They will send you to a page with general questions, that's all. Support for my card provider informed me that they don't even see these declines, as they are happening on Anthropic's end, or should I clarify: Stripe's end. Claude uses Stripe for payment. How can a self-respecting business, which I thought this was, not have any way to contact them, for billing issues. Imagine if I was trying to stop my subscription and had the same problem, and they just kept billing me and billing me until I died. Unimaginable what the so called LLM providers are getting away with these days. Until they can operate like a 'real business' my money stays in my pocket.
