Complete Failure of Coinbase Customer Support

My first experience with investing in bitcoin was/is with Coinbase. I wire money into my account and purchased bitcoin. I saved some for further investment, but then attempted to send some of it to my fiancé, via her bc wallet. The transaction was denied. I called and was told I had to wait the 1-3 business days. They purchase was made on 9 April, a wed. Thought Friday 11 April was three days, but was told it would be transferred on Monday, 14 Apr. IT was not, nor the next day. I called that day and was told it was on hold, and my account frozen. I was told they suspected I might be the victim of an online scam and required to be questioned further about my transfer. I was asked 3 questions like did I respond to any government or third party's request to buy and/or transfer bitcoin, no I replied to to all relevant questions. I verified I am the account owner, my phone number and address. I was told that after all this that my account was frozen for 30 freaking days for any external SENDs, still open for deposits and purchases. Seriously? I buy so that I can then distribute to various other investments or in this case to my fiancé. Fortunately, I attempted to send only a relatively small amount, having a much higher amount I intended to send later. I asked if there was a manager I might speak to, NO was the answer, but the agent indicated she could email my request for a higher level review. That might take three days. The next day, I received an email saying the review was complete and they my account SEND function was frozen. Coinbase has not emailing receiving capability, nor was I given any reason for the freeze. I feel this review process stinks, with no recourse for their supposed valued customers. As this is my first experience with a crypto exchange, I cannot compare it to any others. Yet, if this is the best or supposed one of the best, I feel my crypto buying days are over. I would like to retrieve my paltry $55,000 in accounts but suspect the suspension for SENDING won't allow. I note this exchange has a 57% one-star rating. Not surprised. As a minimum, customers deserve to be able to speak to someone in the decision making chain, not merely a low level CSR who barely speaks English.UPDATE: 29 April ‘25- eventually After sending at request my license photos Nd even a facial video, I received notice that i had been verified and that transfers for which my account had been frozen would be processed, sent to the intended recipient. They were not, not then, not later. I sent out a test $10 worth of btn, my account was again flagged as before. Whether lies or incompetence added to a non-customer friendy interface; highly suggest interestedCustomers should take heed, read the huge number of other 1 star reviews and go elsewhere for crypo service.
