This is t about Costco but It’s about one of their partners! SUNRUN I'm giving one star only because it's the lowest rating I can give, but honestly, they don't even deserve that. In April 2023, I made the worst decision of my life! It also led me to lose any trust I might have in any sales representative in the future. During the visit from Sunrun's representative, Eilyn V., she kept insisting that I would never have to worry about an electric bill again, that the electricity generated by the solar panels on my house would be sufficient, and that I would probably receive credits for producing excess energy. This was an ABSOLUTE LIE, told straight to my face and in front of my entire family. She kept repeating the same lie, going through each slide of the contract. Unfortunately, I trusted this SUNRUN representative, and now I feel worse every day! After a few months of the installation, the system started working, but I noticed only a very small change in my usual energy bill, which led me to investigate further and even file a complaint directly with the company. I was shocked to find out that the system installed on my property can only produce, at best, 40% of the energy my house needs, and I was "lucky" with that because my signature was on the contract. Unfortunately, I didn’t review the contract closely because I was scammed by Sunrun's representative, who kept repeating the lie of a "SELF-SUFFICIENT HOME." To make a long and painful story short, I now have a debt of over $40k for solar panels that don't produce what was promised, electric bills over $400 a month, and the greatest sense of stupidity I've ever felt in my life, all thanks to them! SUNRUNMy advice to everyone is don't trust any of them, and if you're interested in solar panels, record the entire presentation and the person selling to you because what they say is not what’s written!Eilyn V & SunRun SCAMMED ME.
