This paper is blighted by ads and pop ups. Some of the ads are subetly blended in with regular news stories, such as a recent teeth-whitening product. This practice of camouflaging ads amongst other news stories may or may not be illegal. What is more worrying is that some of their banner ads are from companies based in China. I had the misfortune of placing an order for clothes with one of these companies and got totally ripped off. Luckily Paypal came to my rescue and issued a refund. Incidentally, it seems absurd to me that the DailyMail is allowing Chinese companies to advertise on their platform considering how much they like to bash the CCP in their jingoistic rag.
