You have a terrible subscription process. I respect the Economist and have been a subscriber for most of the last 50 years. One problem is your automatic renewal process. I did not receive any reminder that my subscription was about to renew, so I had no chance to cancel. When I talked to somebody on the phone and told them I wanted to cancel, they immediately offered me a 50% discount. This is CRAZY and SLEAZY. One subscription price for those who complain and another for those who don't complain?! And the subscription website is terrible.
