Unethical cancellation process

Unsubscribing is too time consuming. Every other subscription service that I have encountered allows you to cancel easily. The Economist make you select unsubscribe, then click that you don't want the alternatives which they offer, and then you still have to call them or use live chat. When you make it clear that you want to unsubscribe and that you are busy, they continue to offer different subscriptions. It is frustrating and unprofessional, and out of line with the quality of the journalism and product. I don't know how The Economist is happy to give such awful customer service.
